The Singles Tour 86>98 concluded in December 1998. At the final performance at the Pond in Anaheim on Tuesday, December 22, 1998, Andrew Fletcher spoke to the audience. He said,"This has been the best Depeche Mode Tour in many years. There is a very small chance that we might be back."
